Photo Mashups

During my tenure at Kansas State University’s art program, I found an interest in assembling images from free stock photos. Often these photos were available through Wikimedia Commons or other open source galleries. They weren’t ‘the best’ that were available, but that created a challenge. Combining them and carefully considering composition, lighting, and colors resulted in something greater than the sum of their parts.

This skill translated to a professional capacity as I had to learn to manage and integrate multiple parts of a photoshoot into a single cohesive product, often with limited resources at my disposal.
