My family has a lot of engineers, architects, and building systems designers. I undoubtedly picked up on their drive to create precise, high contrast, visually clean works. I recall staring at massive AutoCAD printouts on my grandfather’s desk, with precise markings and notes he made with a mechanical pencil.

That precision marking has translated into my artwork, and even though I don’t design industrial systems, I still strive to create with that same sharp quality and cleanliness.
